Hi Guys, something more about my start with the Radio & More.
Back on 1988…I was started Dx’ing after 3 years on the Local CB radio.
During that time, 11m band was so crowded and not many Dx Group we could heard on the frequency.
With some friends in Jakarta, I build an Indonesian Dx Group…RADIO INDONESIA !
I am the founder and International Controller who run this group.
Don’t be surprise if Indonesia was Prefix no 1 !
Everybody want to be the number one !!
This moment this Group just use for The beginner …how to Dx ing..and before they qualified to be Dx’er and joint other group!
Joined SUGAR DELTA – SPECIAL DX’ER Group on February 1999 .…when met Ari / 91 SD 010 on the air . There are 3 members on SD Group that moment : 91 SD 010/ Ari ,
91 SD 105 / Anto and 91 SD 999 / Marselino. Ari asked me to joined and built a strong Indonesia SD Division. Wahid /91 SD 130 followed me to joined the gang and qsl via Steve / 14 SD 016. For the first time I knew Steve / 016 …a nice and gentle person. I used my ex unit number 115…………91 SD 115 / BILLY

A struggle on 27,610 when we made a local qso w Ari, Billy and a new SD member ….Isfan / 91 SD 125….. Dino(ex 001) was coming to the frequency and he didn’t answer Isfan …the guy gone without say anything …we were very angry with what this guy done !
On the sddxnet forum…I hardly asked what is the reason he left the frequency…….and he answered on other forum wwdx (Not our own forum)….with the help from president of another group,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Billy/ 91 SD 115 is expelled !!!!
Offcourse everybody reacted…Indonesia, Steve/016..Sandro/1 SD 002 and so many Coordinator and Members from all over the world…… ! And Billy expulsion will be brought to the 1999 World Meeting…………………During that time, I got so many attacked and so many times « Mail Bombs » on my email address.

INTERNATIONAL SD HEAD QUARTER was borned and Officials of UK,France,Spain, Germany,Japan,USA,Sweden,Indonesia and many divisions have decided not to recognise Dino’s HQ anymore……..Spirit of Democracy !!! Simply the Best !!!!

Int SD HQ asked and nominated Billy/91SD 015 to be World IOTA Trophy Manager and
Ari/ 91 SD 010 to be Int SD HQ Member.
YEAR 2000…….
Year of so many SD IOTA from Indonesia…..and Indonesia no more « MOST WANTED COUNTRY » !! One of them is 91 SD / OC 150 – Lombok Island , by 91 SD 015/Billy and
Anom/ 91 SD 022. I travelled 1200 km to meet Anom in Bali Island and together we continued the journey to Lombok Island which located 5 hours from Bali Island.
We gave approx 1500 prog nos to all over continents. The propagation was so good so we could transmitted almost 24 hours a day….A beautifull beach of Senggigi.. swimming, fishing, sun bathing. I lost the 3 element Yagi beam …broken to pieces when falling down to the beach when we are so hurry packed the equipment. The ferry was waiting for us back to Bali Island.
